Exploring Tekek – Tioman Island & Visitors

posted in: Malaysia | 0
We started the day with the all inclusive brekkie in our $27 per night /per room accommodation at Tioman Cabana, inc many menu options, we had pancakes & smoothies, followed by a swim and walk along the beach to go go monkey spotting as one can. We found plenty of plastic garbage bags in the ocean & a washing basket to collect all the rubbish in on this very scenic bay walk. Theres plenty more there for anyone else walking beyond the resort frontage. We walso went walkabout & found a massive butcher bird statue, so funny, its a major pest in Australia. Baby monkeys, so cute belonged to a little girl 11 years old, 1 male and 1 female..bored big time, pretty scared of us and her. The monkeys are pests on the island, she planned on keeping them where they are forever. Theres a ‘PAIN’ ball shooting target in Tekek. We watched the fogging of the accommodation from the beach, & yet another stunning the sunset.  In the evening the Eco dive crew arrived, bringing love, laughter, singing and very cool henna tattoos. Duty free alcohol was consumed  Local Wasabi, the guitar tamer played cards with kid 3 & beautiful memories were made :-).
