Adelaide CBD & Museum in South Australia

The South Australian Museum was our first port of call today, after the disappointment of the Sydney Museum it took a bit of encouragement to go to another one within a week – it was awesome, we really needed two days there. Kid 4 squealed with delight when we entered the animal exhibit, she said it was like ‘The Night at the Museum Movie’ and “Can we please stay here tonight?” I cant thank the staff enough who were happy to answer the endless questions they were bombarded with and the volunteers who happily helped us with kid 3’s request to hold the live display of a ‘Eastern Water Dragon’ – very cool guy. See how fantastiic this museum is for yourself in the images provided, its a great day out. Later we made our way through the upgraded Rundle Mall and had a photo with the affectionately know ‘Malls Balls’. Rundle Mall is the main shopping hub for fashion, (picked up a new hat) when youre finished walk to the end of the mall and head to Rundle St ‘Cafe Town’ with a funky vibe, cool bars & a shopping hub for something unique or quirky. We stumbled on this restaurant for late lunch of Ethiopian cuisine at African Village Centre Restaurant at 2 Northcote St Torrensville SA 08 8352 1492, it was accidental, but amazing, we were full to the eyeballs with coffee nd drinks for around $30 & so so yummy. Great story about the owner of the restaurant we later found http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-09-22/from-a-child-soldier-to-a-refugee-to-an-adelaide-restaurateur/5760478 to see more photos go to https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.456727881160021.1073741838.441531179346358&type=3
